Pilotredsky - Eternal EP

Pilotredsky's latest EP follows in the footsteps of his signature sound - grandiose 8-bit pieces. Placing more of an emphasis on melody and listenability, the Eternal EP offers up his most warming/welcoming project so far. Keeping things this seemingly simple while maintaining a sense of nuance is a task only the best of the best are up for.

Daydreams of loading screens, the waiting room to REM sleep plays on loop.
Brooding atmospheres flux beneath playful melodies and create a lovely surface for your thoughts to drift on. Mario Kart-like on route to their destination. Recurring mental pictures of nature pop up while this EP plays through. Through a lot of pilotredsky's work this is where my mind often ventures to - creatures working in tandem to keep the forest floor clear for daily routines and mischievous deeds.

'Polymer' may just be my favourite track from pilotredsky to date. My god is it beautiful. The twist of drums make for skittery, restless elegance. It packs a re-playable energy that is hard to come by.

The Eternal EP is yet another project from pilotredsky that sollidifies his place among the most efficient and prolific artists of our time.
